In-season monitoring
Information on disease development and appropriate management options is available for Scotland via the SAC website Click here to view website

CropMonitor is not currently carrying out any in-season monitoring of winter barley crops in England. However, weekly crop reports are being supplied by AICC members (compiled by Farming online)

National monitoring
Barley is the second most important crop in England and Wales in terms of area grown and pesticide inputs. Annual surveys of winter barley diseases were conducted annually from 1981 to 2005 to monitor changes in crop disease status and crop protection practices. Surveys of winter barley have now been discontinued due to changes in priority. View national survey data
